Let me give you a quick idea of our progress this month. I am proud to say that we've already exceeded our gross goal for the month. We hit $15,500 today. Our total gross for February was $15, 600. We also did $12K in contract amount today alone and 52K since the first of March. That puts us at $64K contact amount so far this month and $15K for February. We've converted a bunch of 6 month paid in full accounts to 30 month BBT monthly accounts. This is really going to help our monthly check. Also, our income per member is climbing back to where it should be.

We had our graduation Sunday and gave out 30 trophies to students who upgraded to BBT and MT. There were only a handful of basic students left to upgrade and 2 of those were upgraded today. That leaves us with only 26 basic kids with all the rest in BBT, Master, or Leadership. I'm also expecting several BBT students to upgrade to MT within the next few weeks as we start learning the broadsword form.

Well, so much for a quick email. I'm just so excited. Wanted to share...

We're having a member appreciation BBQ this Friday night (FREE) and then a Spring break summer camp the last week of the month. We are super busy.

I couldn’t help but try to think like Mr. Silva when we built the place out. We have plans for a UFC style fence and some cool wall murals like your Arizona Studio and I have been going through all my old UP videos of your Coral Springs school to add in some “Cool Factors” at our school. Already we are the talk of the town for how the school looks now. Most people when they walk in say “Wow, This is a karate school? It looks too nice to be a Karate School.” Which is exactly what we were going for. I will be sending pictures to everyone this week.

And believe me, we’ve thrown out soooooo much stuff and I feel much better about our organization now that we have more space. Our grand re-opening will be in August. I am working with Mr. Reis to help plan a blowout!!! We are going to have Mr. Reis do a school evaluation with us and couldn’t be happier. Thank you for everything. J

P.S. I have also broke down and just said “Yes Sir” to Mr. Silva’s recommendation on using Renee and her website template. It should be up and running this week. I don’t think that I, nor the staff, have been this excited about the direction of our school and I owe a lot to you, Mr. Silva, Mr. Storm and Mr. Reis for all the support and hard work that is put into the corner man program.

My name is Greg Silva and you may recognize me as the President of United Professionals or as a consistent speaker at the Martial Arts Super Show. I've been deeply involved with the martial arts industry since 1973. Here's my story (and I promise I'll make it brief!)

Here's My Story:

My first school grew to a chain of six in Connecticut in the mid 1980's. I then sold those schools and went to Coral Springs, Florida (nicer weather - no blizzards!) where I opened East West Karate. That single school grew to 1200 active students in less than three years. No, that's not a typo - that's twelve hundred active students!

OK - back to my story - Owners from all over the country would come and visit to see exactly what I was doing and what "Secret Business Techniques" I was developing and implementing.

Fast Forward a little bit...In the early 90's I formed United Professionals and began to share my Success Proven systems of running a school as well as my specific professional philosophy of teaching. United Professionals later formed an alliance partnership with ASF International. We now serve schools in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom.

I'm truly "A Lifer" I missed being involved in the day to day duties of a school owner and am now active in school ownership with a school in Mesa, Arizona www.eastwestmma.com so I am in tune with the pulse of the industry.
